Earn yourself some money It's always nice to get something for our old bits and bobs. Take your car for example, with many people now taking the opportunity to get money off a new car by part-exchanging their old car as part of the deal. Well, we're now running a brilliant offer with our friends at Motocaddy, which will see you get up to £60 back in cash (minimum return is £50) when you trade-in your old electric trolley whilst purchasing a new Motocaddy electric trolley in-store. |

Rory's rapturous round Rarely, do we see players threaten (or reach) the magical 59 score in Tour-level golf. So, when McIlroy flirted with exactly this during Sunday's final round of the Canadian Open - whilst being in contention from the start - it was one impressive feat. The Northern Irishman needed to birdie his final hole for a 59 and was in prime position when his drive split the fairway, only to miss the green with his approach and finish up with a bogey. Still, McIlroy's magical 61 was more-than-enough to claim his second PGA Tour title of 2019 (as well as eight other top 10s) ahead of this week's U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. Talk about timing.

It’s Major week...Again This week sees the world's best head to the West Coast of America to tackle the iconic Pebble Beach Links. It is the sixth time that this magnificent test of golf has hosted the U.S. Open, with the likes of Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson and Tiger Woods having successfully prevailed in years gone by. Aside from the stunning views, Pebble Beach will be a stern test of accuracy with the smallest greens (by average size) on the PGA Tour this season. So, who do you think will win? Can Tiger make it a fourth U.S. Open title? Will Rory bring his Canadian Open form to California? Or can Phil Mickelson finally get his hands on the one Major that has eluded him for so long? We don't have to wait much longer to find out!

If you’re an equipment junkie, there’s nothing quite like standing on the first tee clutching the latest driver – especially, with the marketing promise of faster ball speeds and greater distance firmly in your mind. The question is, should this be your number one priority with the big stick in hand? |
With the US Open taking place at Pebble Beach this week, one thing the world’s best will need in abundance is accuracy off the tee. Penal rough, fairway bunkers aplenty and the Pacific Ocean combine to create one of the hardest tests in golf. |
Introducing Srixon's Z 785 driver One driver that will be in golfers' bags at Pebble Beach is this beauty from Srixon. The Z 785 is the only driver in the brand's range for 2019, which says everything it needs to about the quality of this model. It boasts exceptional distance as well as great forgiveness, combining to create a driver that is suited to lots of different golfers. So, what are you waiting for? Come and have a chat to us in the shop and we can start you on your journey to better golf this summer. |
